@_deceptionfalls No matter what games people answer with here, remember that the artistic qualities of a game are in the game itself. Beautiful graphics and well-written stories are not games. A game is its mechanics. Trying to make a game into an arthouse movie is a failure to understand either.

@Matheus58323427 @SB2749 We'll get there eventually. For now they're appearing more prominently in the spin-offs and Tangle got name-dropped in Frontiers. At the speed Sonic games are made, it'll probably be a bit longer before one of them makes a proper appearance, but it's only a matter of time.

i don't follow the sonic comics but i find it cool how tangle feels like she was created with video game mechanics in mind even though she debuted in a medium where these things don't really matter

The final season of The Boys started yesterday and... I just can't do it. Not right now anyway. I'm in a headspace where I hate that every "adult" show is just nonstop swearing and gore. Way too much "adult" tv is just some version of gore porn and nihilism, where being hopeful and optimistic is punished because "you need to grow up and live in the real world" or something. Idk I'm just rambling, and a friend of mine was telling me he felt the same way watching Jujutsu Kaisen for the first time.

@h4ilhorse The logical steps for the next movie are Mario Land or Mario Wonder. Since those are the main games where Daisy is there (unless there's another you can think of). But also, everyone mostly expected this to be Mario world, so the obvious choices aren't always correct

The Super Mario Galaxy movie implies a multiverse and I fucking hate it. Why are we starting multiverse stuff in the 2nd movie? You barely explore 4 galaxies here, and the one with the most screentime is a overglorified airport.
