@it_a_me_knowlzy VA would have had me wait another 13 years from now to have them replaced(one was done 9 years ago the other 4) both were starting to fuse when done. The VA won’t ever touch me unless I absolutely need them too. My experience with them here in Central Indiana is horrible.

@it_a_me_knowlzy I have two replaced knees done in my 40’s that were hosed by my time in service in the mid 90’s. I used my private insurance as the VA would not do a single thing for me ever and take months to be seen. I am lucky that I have decent insurance and work with incredible surgeon.

If you’re a vet, please continue to seek help with the VA. Do not let this recent situation prevent you from taking the necessary steps. The VA can already be a daunting process (I’m writing this from the lobby of one)
