I think it’s easy to forget the bigger picture - your ‘raison d’être’ - and, more importantly, all of the wonderful things you’ve already achieved, when you’re in the trenches of life. Whether you’re trying to find a new job, write the novel you’ve been saying you’re going to write for years… Or, like me, trying to put together a collection and organise an exhibition, all the while convinced that it’ll be a total failure, obviously.
