I like how Pelley's entire vision, strategy and tactics were blind sided by Buffalo and Montreal actually outperforming the MLSE front office, let alone on the ice. Pelley was RELYING upon other teams to be lousy. That was the vision.

@HockeyFanTML the guy is more fascinated with "the first" than "the best". Wickenheiser would be a virtue signal, and would not have autonomy. Pelley would be running the major trades and payroll.
