@Amy_K_Nelson I have love for you @Amy_K_Nelson but I’m surprised by the hypocrisy. The Riveter hired its first Black woman executive months ago. Also, the first department to go was DEI. Influence shouldn’t be used to tokenize a very real movement for Black Women.

I learned today - shame on me - that RBG had only *one* Black clerk in 38 years. This is unacceptable. We can lionize the woman as a hero, but we MUST also discuss this abject failure loudly. If we do not, we minimize the brilliant Black attorneys who were overlooked.
