In the 4Q, a female Denver Nuggets commentator stated that Jokic didn’t want to shoot the wide open floater, instead, he wanted to pass and find a teammate. This is shameless stat padding from a person who values numbers over winning. Thirdly, you see he had 21 rebounds. You must wow, that’s great! But how many were defensive? That’s right, 21! 21 defensive rebounds. Now you had to ask yourself how is this possible. I will tell you. Nikola Jokic does not play ANY defense at all. He does not contest shots (this is why they nearly lost to a tanking team) and stays under the rim PRAYING the opponents miss their shots so he can grab the rebound WHICH ARE ALMOST ALWAYS UNCONTESTED.
