This sums up how many of us feel after Charlie Kirk's assassination. The Holy Spirit is tugging at all of us to be better, to have more courage, to testify of truth. I pray we can all live up to that call.
Chad Prather@WatchChad

Good morning. The reason you feel Charlie’s death so deeply is because grief doesn’t measure itself by proximity. It measures itself by meaning. You didn’t have to know him personally to feel the sting of his absence, because when a voice like his goes silent, something in the atmosphere shifts. The reason it feels heavier than so many other tragedies is because your spirit recognizes that this is not just about a man, it is about a battle. Scripture says eternity is written on our hearts, and when someone who carried truth with boldness is suddenly gone, eternity aches within us. It’s like our souls know instinctively that the darkness celebrated, and that strikes us at the core. The reason you can’t shake it is because psychologically, we don’t only attach ourselves to people…we attach ourselves to symbols. Charlie became a symbol of conviction in a time of compromise, courage in a time of fear. And when a symbol is struck down, it rattles something primal and eternal inside us. That’s why even those who never met him feel it. There is a strange thread pulling at us, and it is not imagined. It is real. We are bound together by shared purpose, by shared longing for truth, by the Spirit of God Himself weaving us into a fabric that cannot be torn apart. This loss pulled at that fabric, and every one of us felt the tug. So if you’ve wondered why this hits so hard, it’s because your soul knows. This is bigger than news. This is bigger than politics. This is about eternity, about truth, and about the weight of a man whose life carried both. Love y’all.

This is a tough read but important to remember the pure evil what took place during the Biden Admin. They allowed >400,000 kids to be trafficked into the country. townhall.com/tipsheet/kyleo…

"The century of progressivism did not go well. The European system that Wilson and the progressives scolded Americans for not adopting—which he called nearly perfect—led to the governments that caused the most awful century that the world has ever seen. Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini and Mao all were intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration is based. Many progressives expressed admiration for each of them shortly before their governments killed tens of millions of people. It was a terrible mistake to adopt progressivism’s rejection of the Declaration’s vision of universal, unalienable natural rights." -Justice Clarence Thomas, 2026

That's fascinating. I hadn't heard that explanation before but it makes a lot of sense. I'm curious, did you read that somewhere? I haven't heard it explained like that by lds leaders, writers, or apologists but I could have missed it. Like you, I think the biggest heresy is that others don't realize we have a literal Heavenly Father. Ours is the only religion that teaches are are actually children of God. That message is so powerful.

The Trinity says the Jesus is the Father of Heaven and Earth, and that they are one God. This is true. What it leaves out is that Jesus had ANOTHER Father — the Father of Spirits. And then they force everyone to accept that the Trinity is the ONLY truth, and there is nothing outside of it. And so those who recite it know nothing about Heavenly Father, a reject the very notion of Him.

@SoCalConserve1 @Latterdaytruth @grok It is incredible, but last night, I was smarter than SuperGrok 4. It admitted, that I was right, and it was wrong. Careful on how much you trust any model, it’s only as smart as its training data and programming, nothing more.

YES!! a while ago my wife and I visited the Metropolitan museum of Art in NYC. They have this Chinese mural that stands 24 Feet high --enormous!! (this picture doesn't do it justice) It is from the Yuan Dynasty and was made in about AD1319 It shows the Buddha of Medicine Bhaishajyaguru (Yaoshi fo)- Things that blew my mind- Standing to either side of the central figure are the Buddha’s "attendant bodhisattvas:" (1st and 2nd Counselors?-Godhead?) He has 12 'Guardian Generals' - They personify Bhaishajyaguru’s vow to help all in need by curing illness, ensuring the birth of healthy children, and providing clothing and other necessities. (12 Apostles?) As we looked (and listened to the audio description) my wife and I both had the same thought pop in our heads at the same time- "Other Sheep I have which are not of this fold"!! followed by shivers and tears! Granted some things maybe were lost or mis-understood after 1300 years - but this just seems to be way more than coincidental - I would be willing to bet Jesus showed up in China and set up his church shortly after his resurrection and the knowledge of it was passed down for many generations!

We are desperate for change here in California and that’s exactly what I’m bringing. Californians suffer under the highest poverty rate, highest unemployment rate, and highest cost of living because of CA Democrat policies. All of that ends when I’m elected governor!

Kudos to you and your husband. This just shows you’ve raised your daughter right. You’ve both done what you are asked to do in teaching your children what God wants for them and what will bring them the most happiness. There is little we can control in the church and especially in our local wards, but we can control what happens within our home. I still make my voice known when church folks don’t do things that align with the gospel, and sometimes have to catch myself complaining about things I can’t control. But my wife and I CAN control what is taught in our home. Despite the YW program in my ward sounding similar to yours, I’m proud to say that both my 17 and 13 year old daughters would both say the thing: they want most in life is to be a mother one day. They both also want to serve missions and get an education, but want to be mothers above all else.

Last night, my 17 year old daughter looked at me and said, “I wish they taught us more about motherhood in Young Women. Isn’t that the most important thing we’ll ever do?” I can’t even express how much I love her. She is wise beyond her years and understands what many take a long time to learn.

The SPLC is a criminal organization that funded “right wing hate groups” and organized fake right wing protests so that it could then turn around and fundraise off of them and use them as a pretext to crackdown on conservatives nationwide. Keep in mind that every leftist activist group is just as corrupt, dishonest, and sinister as this. SPLC is the tip of the iceberg.

The SPLC has added Turning Point to their ridiculous “hate group” list, right next to the KKK and neo-Nazis, a cheap smear from a washed-up org that’s been fleecing scared grandmas for decades. They somehow still rake in over $100 million a year peddling their “hate map” nonsense, sitting pretty in their Montgomery “Poverty Palace” while crying about “hate” to line their pockets. Even former staffers called their racket a “con.” Their game plan? Scare financial institutions into debanking us, pressure schools to cancel us, and demonize us so some unhinged lunatic feels justified targeting us. Remember the Family Research Council? An SPLC-inspired gunman went after them. They’d love nothing more than to see TPUSA in the crosshairs. But it’s 2025, and nobody with a functioning brain buys their garbage anymore. The SPLC is a laughingstock, a hollowed-out husk of an organization that’s been exposed as a grift time and time again. They’re not just irrelevant—they’re a cautionary tale of how to torch your own credibility. Maybe someone should take a hard look at where all that “nonprofit” money’s really going? Being on their list is a badge of honor. It means they’re terrified that we’re so effective. Keep crying, SPLC—America’s done with your scam.

The Critical Race Theory playbook demands that there be the appearance of virulent "right-wing" racism so that Woke crusaders have a justification to push "left-wing" racism — aka DEI. The left's demand for racism outstrips the supply. So they just fabricate it.
MAZE@mazemoore

So the "white supremacists" in Charlottesville in 2017 were actually being paid by the leftist group SPLC. This just makes the dumbest political hoax in American history even more ridiculous.

This is stunning: the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, VA, the most notorious of all the extremist displays of the last ten years, tiki torches and all, was actually a subsidized racket funded by the supposedly anti-hate SPLC. The DOJ has all the receipts. I'm not cynical enough to have imagined such a thing. x.com/Tyler2ONeil/st…
