@HaloNoSprint @DSR_Joker @JaySage756 I mean we have more and more changing the game. I would say Extraction started has hardcore but we've had multiple takes on the type of Hardcore or Casual throughout them. Like my current addiction Forever Winter it has a level for both even just being PvE.

So although extraction shooters by design are not designed for casuals (just factual) Arc implemented agression based matchmaking which has enabled casuals to be able to play in a friendly way. Even so, that pretty much goes against extraction norms

Okay that’s great. Now let’s look at the sales… and player numbers. Oh people are choosing to ether not engage with Marathon or quit. Question how do you fix players churn? How do you get new players? Because you absolutely need them for the game to survive.

@HaloNoSprint @DSR_Joker @JaySage756 Normally no. That's why Arc Raiders is a massive hit though. It changed the playing field and gave a route for all even casuals.

@jingelhymer I was unaware at the time who these people were, because I don't follow every creator in the world. The most I know at the time is that one dude played Skull and Bones a lot and had a beef with the other dude.

I swear its like every year I get flashbanged on twitter by Lono no matter how many accounts I mute. Same with joker. Not surprised they're both affiliated with each other. I've never played an extraction shooter. Marathon is my first. It took me like...2 matches to figure out that the contracts basically teach you how to play marathon and extraction shooters in general. (Rouge lite with PvP) and the story as well. The menu did take me a while to get used to though ill give you that. That being said in terms of complexity I'd put it up there with learning how to use the U.I in like Minecraft for the first time. The thing that should get *casual* gamers excited to play more is the rougelite loop. If you enjoy the loop then you'll keep playing. If you keep playing you'll get better, if you get better you'll get better loot. Rinse repeat doods. At least thats what's hooked me.

@Riftwalkergame 1. The shadows in 2 look more reflective making it seem more like it's raining over it's just a shadow imo.

@ArcRaidersNow I'm middle. I don't shoot unless I have to. I mostly play medic and treasure hunter. Give things to friendlies and help newbies. The Arc are more interesting foes than any player.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond Disagree Strikes and Crucible were your main core modes and pillars people enjoyed and they saw neglect for years. However this has gone on way too long and I see I'm frankly wasting my time. So I'll wish you a good day and quit filling Marshall's notis.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Those are core playlist, not pillars. Pillars are the systems.

So can you go to the Leviathan right now? Can you log into Destiny 2 and go there right this second?

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond No the core pillars are Strikes and Crucible. Hell even gambit. The core activities. Witch Queen was mid but better than the thing before it. FS was dragged down by other factors in its writing like Zavala being character assassinated.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Less to offer sure, but the quality of specifically WQ and TFS was on par. You can say writing was bad but it literally wasn't, especially with WQ. You say content but WQ stuff had some of the most to offer with stuff like crafting and Subclass 3.0 stuff, which are core pillars.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond Not really. Every DLC after Forsaken had less to offer than it. Writing Quality overall was ranging from terrible to mid. Content and rewards were mostly copy paste. The pillars of the game suffered for years with never being fixed. None of that's subjective that's just fact.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond We could yes. Or we could also say "oh this is pretty good and it shows since a lot of people like it too". We could also judge it by what it has and what it offered. I get that you dislike it and that's fine, but as you said earlier, it's subjective.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond We can instantly disprove that by people like terrible things all the time especially when tied to something else they like. However my favorite example to always use is one of my favorite movies is Tommy Wiseau's The Room. It's garbage but I love it.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond Liked and actual quality are 2 different things. When your normal is a 3/10 and you get a 5 it's enough of a shock to seem like a 9.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond I'd say the only overall good was Forsaken, however we now know that most the best stuff from Forsaken, and earlier was High Moon so I ain't giving Bungo that. WQ is a solid 5/10 and FS 7/10.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Bungie has definitely not made the best product in the past. Most of their stuff are mediocre but they have made some good stuff too with stuff like WQ and TFS. It's not like it's all bad, they've made some mistakes, but they've also done some good. Shit goes both ways sadly.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond And I'm polar opposite I stopped reviewing after the only 7/10 DLC which was Final Shape. Bungie has lied, stolen, and bullshit their way through the years while destroying anything worthwhile in Destiny and telling us they don't care about low quality.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Sure it is subjective, but majority do like the D2 versions. Except I'm not making excuses, I'm just waiting. I've played all those content a lot and gotten what I want.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond This is why I said I would but it's a subjective thing. I think the three from D1 are worse in D2. Literal content was stolen from paying customers and you're making excuses. If it returns it needs to not just be a skin suit like Bungie it needs to be what was taken as well.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Worse? Literally all of them got a good boost in quality. That's kinda the thing with the DCV, literally ANYTHING can be brought back. Also, it's not 1:1 but the old raids they brought back are significantly better than the Leviathan raids while also being free for all.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond And I'd argue they're worse versions. However just cause they're there doesn't magically take away people who paid for D2Y1 got it all stolen away and never returned or compensated.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Zone is what it is, the zone. But sure, the raid isn't in the game but in turn we got a bunch of D1 raids.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond Zone encompasses all things including the raids. It doesn't matter that they settled when we're talking about what they said there which was showing we will never get our paid content back. Stop making a point for an argument never made.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Dude said Leviathan zone, not Leviathan raid. Cause the zone is in the game, you can't deny that. The lawsuit doesn't matter cause there's already a settlement that's been paid.

@TheCave_0 @HMBohemond Then it's not back if you change the thing and then go "the thing is here" then you're incorrect. There Leviathan isn't back in full and thus nothing has been returned which is the entire argument. The Lawsuit matters cause it showed we're never getting that stuff back.

@Sol_Bytes @HMBohemond Except the newer Cabals aren't the same as Red Legion, in fact they have their own troops too. What I'm saying is the lawsuit doesn't matter at all, it all depends on Bungie if they want to bring back the raid. Leviathan as an area though? It's back.
