@xskqllx I'm one who is rarely happy with what I make so I have to stop myself every now and then and think about how much progress I've really made. Appreciate the reminder haha

Remember that first edit, video sample? Now think how far you've come I poured DAYS into it, tweaking everything and honestly, it was pretty impressive for a noob 😂 Fast-forward: I can do stuff like that way better but it won't bring back the old virgin editor me lmao

Style match test! Replicating the channel’s previous Gen-Z pacing: heavy SFX, zooms, loud subtitles, fast cuts. loud = intentional fast = required ugly subtitles = mandatory

Hey guys, I'm excited to share my first big win! While it wasn't actual video editing and just a batch of simple animations done for a website, it is still my largest freelance project so far. Appreciate everyone here being huge inspirations, this is just the beginning! • Client & project: (SEO Business, produced a batch of 6 fairly simple animations for use on their website) • What I loved: Collaborating closely with the client, refining the motion design, and bringing their brand’s vision to life • Key win: Delivered the project ahead of schedule, and the client was really happy with the results and although the pay wasn’t everything I hoped for, the experience was invaluable • Next steps: Refining my offerings and pricing to match the value I bring, bigger and better projects are on the horizon! As a side note, what are your opinions on pursuing motion graphic design over video editing, or both at the same time? 🤔

@SolwingFX This is how freelancers can transition to agency owners. Offer things like thumbnail, scripts even for free to your existing client, if they like it get the deal. And testimonial

Editors! If you want to sell more services, start by offering it to your existing client. They are more likely to buy because they trust you. ( It's a beginner lvl thumbnail.)

One of my clients just hit 1 million views this month. Just from shorts alone. We’re planning to push long-form next. If you’re a streamer and you’re not posting Shorts or long-form… You’re leaving views on the table. I have friends who only watch streamer clips. Never watch them live. Shorts reach those people. AKA fans who'd never find you on Twitch. Even posting ONE format consistently gets you in front of new eyes that can convert to actual viewers

I've got a question.. When's the last time you invested in your skills? Because today, I'm going through @Hadadbiz 's freelancing course. When did you do something similar?

I’m done with the first batch of video ads. You know what the green cells mean? It means the ads were approved by my client. What are you working on today?
