A lot of CSK fans are saying that CSK should have gone up to 30 crore for Shreyas Iyer in the IPL auction, claiming he could’ve been the perfect successor to MS Dhoni. But are you guys blind? The player already in CSK who not only matches Iyer’s captaincy level but is also a perfect successor to Dhoni is Sanju Samson. He’s even a wicketkeeper. So why isn’t anyone talking about making him captain? Honestly, it feels like CSK brought Sanju in through a trade as Dhoni’s successor.

Unlike Sanju and Rutu, Ayush is slogging and is getting purchase out of it. Very important to slog in the powerplay man, thats how T20 cricket in India is right now. We need Ayush to bat maximum balls in the powerplay.

Opening pair of Gaikwad & Samson never gives confidence. Ayush Mhatre had a great IPL as opener last year, I don't know whose idea it was to tweak the batting lineup.
If, Gaikwad did it for personal reason then he is just putting CSK down being captain or if it is Flemming's Idea then just sack him at this point. Let Ayush Mhatre exploit the powerplay atleast!!
