Thank you for your continued support!!! We look forward to hosting everyone this July!

Our committee has a blast organizing this event and we are always trying to top ourselves from the previous year. Our goal is to complete 10 years of the Sparky 5k, this is year 8! It’s hard to imagine where we started and how far we’ve come.

Tom (far right) has been with the Sparky 5k Committee for 3 years and has been a firefighter for 15 years, he currently holds a Captain position with the department. Tom has a goal to complete a 10k this year with his wife, Allison.

Allison (second from the right) has been with the Sparky Committee for 6 years. She has been a firefighter for 13 years. Allison has completed one half marathon, however she prefers a 10k.

Holly (far left) is a founding members of the Sparky 5k Committee and the loving wife of one of our firefighters, Terry. She is also a former KDFD Ladies Auxiliary members. Holly enjoys running and just completed her 57th half marathon, she is on her way to her goal of 60.

Terry (second from the left) has been with the fire department for 30 years and is currently one of the departments Engineers. Terry is one of the founding members of the Sparky 5k, this is one of many running events he takes part in!

We would like to introduce ourselves! We are the Kingston and District Fire Department, Sparky Committee.

Run, Walk or Jog. Whichever you choose. Sparky welcomes all fitness levels!

Our event falls on Friday the 13th of July! Good thing we aren't superstitious! We promise it will be fun and full of laughter, come and join us for the 8th Annual Sparky 5k Fun Run and Walk in Kingston.
