It was quite the surprise this morning to find 2 elves climbing in through a @stmargaretglas @stoswaldsglasg1 #SchoolLibrary window! I suspect the smell of excellent hot chocolate from the Barista Station & all the Christmas decorations may have caught their attention!🍦🎄

#Advent starts today! The @stmargaretglas @stoswaldsglasg1 #SchoolLibrary is celebrating each week's theme with a book recommendation. This week is about #Hope, a central theme in "Radio Silence" by @AliceOseman .

Today, during a #SchoolLibrary visit from some @stoswaldsglasg1 pupils, a new #LibraryVolunteer signed up! Sully did an excellent job checking out and returning books 🥰

The @stoswaldsglasg1 #CareerAdvisor Sheena & I were lucky enough today to be in the #SchoolLibrary as some senior pupils had their 1st lesson in running the school coffee cart. #SchoolLibraryMascot Skadi agreed that their first americano tasted wonderful. 🥰☕️

Happy #RoaldDahlDay to the @stmargaretglas @stoswaldsglasg1 pupils & staff! On Monday & Tuesday next week, there'll be a competition, a #GoldenTicket hunt, & maybe a wee surprise! Hope lots of you come along! Happy Birthday Roald Dahl 🎂

The @stmargaretglasS @StMM_English S1 #LibraryInductions started today! Ms Rogers's class were initially very quiet but came alive when they started raiding the bookshelves 🥰 Really looking forward to getting to know them better.

Had a great time today joining the @stmargaretglas #EnglishDepartment & S1s for local #storyteller #michaelkerins visit. He's really funny, brings his stories to life. I can't wait to get some copies of his #WeeTom books in the #SchoolLibrary weetom.co.uk

Happy Easter holidays to all the pupils & staff of @stmargaretglas & @stoswaldsglasg1! Well done on making it through another term. The #SchoolLibrary will be open on Monday & Tuesday next week, if any senior pupils are in for Supported Study over the holidays. I'm here to help.

The days running up to #WorldBookDay are a great time to get @stmargaretglas S1s & S2s started as #SchoolLibraryVolunteers. Today's cohort did an excellent job shelving books, & even came back at lunchtime to do some more work 🥰

The pupils of @stoswaldsglasg1 helped the #SchoolLibrary kick off the #WorldBookDay celebrations early. The #ReadYourWay theme had pupils pairing up as reading buddies, reading to the Library plushies, & helping out at the issue desk. A great start to the celebrations! 😍

In today's @stmargaretglas #SchoolLibraryRPG #SchoolLibraryDND game, I felt so sorry for the poor innocent tree which was set on fire with lightening, frozen by a Ray of Frost, then defrosted/possibly toasted by the party's Fire Elemental.

Today the @stmargaretglas @stoswaldsglasg1 #SchoolLibrary hosted a showing of the #NicholasWinton film #OneLife. The #RightsRespectingSchool group pupils were great, introducing the film. It was a difficult & emotional watch, but necessary. Well done @StMM_English Ms Rogers too!

I really missed the @stmargaretglas #SchoolLibraryRPG #SchoolLibraryDND games over the Xmas holidays, so had a great time at the 1st game of 2025 today. Aasimars and Moon Elves and Drows, o my!

Well done to @stmargaretglas Mr Walker's S4 #RaisingAttainment class for putting on a great #ChristmasFayre & coffee morning in the #SchoolLibrary today. I got some excellent Christmas presents & enjoyed some very good cake 😍
