Today, our students had the privilege of hearing from Harold Dennis, Jr., a survivor of the nation’s deadliest drinking and driving-related tragedy, the Carrollton bus crash. Through his story of profound loss, resilience, and faith, he challenged our community to reflect on the power of our choices and the responsibility we have to care for one another. His message was clear: make the right choice, you might only get one chance. Mr. Dennis reminded our students that discipline and determination matter, that we must be intentional in all that we do, and above all, strive to be good people. Even in the face of adversity, his life stands as a testament to perseverance, purpose, and hope. Thank you, Mr. Dennis, for sharing your powerful story and reminding our students of the importance of making the right choices and responding to life’s challenges with strength and character. 📸: Foster Kang '29 #WeAreStX
