Right from my youth, I determined what I wanted to be. My father is a tailor, but he didn’t allow me to do much; I had to be in his shop selling buttons. It was from there that I got my passion, and I have done it very successfully, and with my mother’s support, I have no regrets. But children nowadays have their own ideas, they hardly listen to you. This day in 2021, I taught “Òjígípẹ̀katùfù lorúkọ tí wọ́n ń pe Ori…” at Oyotunji village in North Carolina, nearly all the students in class began to cry, 29 people. I taught it again at Clemson University, same experience. A Yorùbá teaching on Ori will make you understand your assignment better. Young people need it.
