youre saying i have 5000 hours as some sort of "gotcha" but legit 70% of that is AFTER i hit radiant the first time. i only started grinding for radiant again from V25:A3 which you can clearly tell from the screenshot u put. from when i first hit diamond to first hit radiant it took me under 2000 hours in 2 years. so basically 2 hours a day. most of it while streaming and playing for fun (i stopped streaming for the act i hit radiant so i could lock in) what is disingenuous? what am i lying about? if anything this proves my original point more? LMFAO

@scrubwrld no that was the case in the first 2 years of the game but not anymore theres only 500 spots for radiant at a time, if every person that got it once kept it every act by just playing, radiant would no longer be the top 0.01% of the game

@StaticMMIV ur right, i didn't establish a timeframe. What i should have said instead is that its significantly harder for someone whos only peaked diamond to do it at the same rate as the scenarios you're describing.

@biffy_xd you can most definitely improve from diamond to radiant with 3 hours of good quality practice for a good year or two. to think every radiant player got there because they played 10 hours a day is ludicrous and just not possible

@StaticMMIV I'd argue that even still you were maintaining a similar relative skill level during that time. It's almost impossible for someone who's only ever been diamond to hit radiant with light playtime compared to someone whos imm3

i would disagree before october/november i was still playing the same if not more than i am now but was regressing and constantly hardstuck 200-500rr for 2 years. then i actually took the time to improve and focus on my mechanics/game sense and achieved my goal of improving enough to hit radiant again i've helped many people who hasnt even touched higher than immo3 to improve just because they needed to be guided on what to spend time on. most of the time actively improving just needs a nudge and point in the right direction

@StaticMMIV to be fair maintaining skill with light time investment is a LOT easier than actively improving (quite a lot if ur goal is to hit radiant) with light time investment

icl i had 350 hours in kovaaks before i realised i was doing it all wrong and wasted my time. perhaps you focusing on your weaknesses so much is what is holding you back, you arent really refining the other fundamentals too that you think you are good at like i said, if its not aim or mechanics its your confidence/mental and how it affects your playstyle. end of the day its ranked just swing and trust all that time you put into being better to actually take the wheel.

can be lots of things "tried vod reviews" - whos vods? did you really try understand each move/util? "deathmatches" - did you just mindlessly run around and shoot or were you deliberate with having each deathmatch focused on different parts of your mechanics and movement? "basically everything" - even picking one agent on each map you actually ENJOY and trying to get good at it consciously? tried playing a deathmatch inbetween games win or lose? stop duoing with people who arent good but you just play with because its a duo? play with legitimate confidence and not giving a fuck about the outcome? practice composure in gunfights? icl what MOSTLY seperates imm3 and radiant is pure aim and stuff i liste. take time to learn the pure science of aiming its so worth it. @ViscoseOCE's videos is GREAT place to start. if it isn't your aim, its your confidence/mental.
