@ZekooXP @lextorias And talking about Spotify, there is too a lot of change of how musics are composed today because it need to adjust to consumer habit. Like when discovering a new sound, poeple usually give it 6 to 10 second before clicking "next"

@ZekooXP @lextorias Yep that would be nice. The reality is that the world today can't fonction with a 100% one time purchzse system neither that it can with a 100% subscription. The industry today need to be balance in between. And the problem is ...

@saishida @azukiglg I would even say that the creators of a show like .... I don't know, "Plus belle la vie" for exemple would think it's really funny that there is dedicated japanese fans that release it themselves. Even tho it's piracy. Maybe just a cultural difference.

日本の出版社はオンラインで出してるよ。 日本語話者向けに。 なぜ、ポルトガル語で出さないかというと、 1)市場規模が分からないのでペイするかどうか不明 2)特に出版社に申し入れがない 3)ポルトガル語社会に配慮するつもりがない（内容面で） 4)どこの出版社も集英社ほど余力がある訳じゃない（これは割と馬鹿にならない 5)ポルトガル語社会の自発的成長機会を、日本が奪ってしまってはならない

@saishida @azukiglg And yes, piracy is bad BUT we can't deny that it's beautifull to have access to niche creations that will not release and being able to enjoy other cultures product. Nobody here will be mad at you if you watch a french TV show fansubbed in japanese.

@saishida @azukiglg Yep I watched it it was so cool ! And talking about that, dramas don't release here. Not every creation can release everywhere in the world. That's a fact we have to accept too.

@Staz117 @lextorias I see, but for example, didn't Spotify said they became profitable some years ago? And Netflix afaik is profitable since 2003 they're clearly sustainable and if it is about artist earning, Deezer and tidal for example pays a lot more than spotify and they're still profitable

@ZekooXP @lextorias If i had to do a metaphore I can sell shit bread with only cheap ingredients that will eventually kill you and being profitable with it. Doesn't mean it's not a disaster.

I'll try to find you really good articles, interviews and videos about that if I have time. But subscriptions is killing creative businesses right now. It's really rough.

@ZekooXP @lextorias It's too much of a complex subject for that shit platform but in short being profitable as a company doesn't mean being a sustainable business model in the industry for a ton of reasons and a lot of the biggest figures in cinema talked about that at multiple occasions.

@saishida @azukiglg Exactly. I think this whole discussion on X about piracy just show how far behind we still are in term of services and accessibility. A lot of poeple would love to be able to buy more mangas or anime, they just can't.

@saishida @azukiglg There is a whole lot of problematic practices like that in the industry that make it extremely hard to do that. You don't just wake up one morning and start a publishing company in this world my friend. That would be cool, but it's not of things works.
