A fantastic night out at Anna's Restaurant celebrating Pene’s 70th birthday! It was great to see Pene’s family and friends together with members of @Rotary EClub Outback Australia and the CWA #TennantCreek. Congratulations Pene 🎂🎉

Great to see Easter Bunny out nice and early for the Lake Mary Ann Tingkkarli @parkrun. Sarah and I finished off the morning by joining up with a number of participants for a coffee and a few Easter eggs. Thank you to Mary and all the volunteers for supporting this fantastic community event.

Fantastic to see the Beef & Reef Cafe operating in Tennant Creek. Great catching up with Steve and Evan for a coffee and breakfast this morning. The cafe is located on Fazaldeen Road here in #TennantCreek so drop in for a visit!

Enjoyed catching up with Chris and Georgina at the #TennantCreek Public Library. There are books, computers, a Kidz Zone and a range of activities for the family. While at the library I signed up for a free membership - drop in and check it out!

The Northern Territory #SportsAwards recognise and celebrates the incredible athletes, teams, and volunteers who make sport such a vital part of #Territory life. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees.

Easter and the school holidays are just around the corner, so we're asking everyone to do the right thing when fuelling up and help keep the Territory moving. There’s plenty of fuel for everyone, so please only take what you need.

It was great to catch up with local businesses including Tennant Mines, Dexter Barnes Electrical, Territory Water Solutions, and Phillips Earthmoving. Small business is the backbone of our economy so please show your support and remember to buy local.

Fantastic to see Australian Regional & Remote Community Services (@ARRCS) in #TennantCreek has been successful in securing $34.6 million under the Aged Care Capital Assistance Program.

It was very exciting to see the new #TennantCreek Primary School library set up, one of the great outcomes from the City-Country Partnership with @RosevilleRC through the #YadhaMuruFoundation. Wonderful work by passionate people in the #Barkly.

The #KatherineHospital is reopening at 10:00am this morning! The work you have all done during the #KatherineFlood Emergency has been absolutely outstanding ⭐️

On match days it is critical to ensure the safety and security of spectators, players, coaches, umpires, staff, volunteers and officials. #BarklyRegionalCouncil should reinstall the fence to ensure @AFLBarkly football remains a family fun day and an opportunity to prevent unruly spectators from entering.

A big night at the 2026 NT Sports Awards with the Territory’s sporting elite honoured. Lachy has been a big contributor to sport through @AFLBarkly, @NTCricket, and Darts. Congratulations Lachlan Dunemann 👏🏼

I’ve been advised of the significant demand that @stjohnaustralia NT experienced across the Northern Territory on Friday night. Thank you to all St John Ambulance and @NTGovHealth staff for the incredible work you do under the most difficult and demanding circumstances.

Fantastic to see our #TennantCreek High School students hosting a Car Wash & BBQ Breakfast at Centrepoint this morning. This was a terrific fundraising event to help support this year’s Student Formal. Thank you to all the students, staff, and volunteers - my car is back to looking shiny and new!
