Today my sweet little grade 1’s surprised me with a line up of roses, BIG hugs, and the most thoughtful gift they put together as a class (with some help from a few moms). My heart is so full, I truly had the best first grade 1 class ever! 🥹 @Stlcs_EICS

We’ve been talking about decision-making strategies in social. Today I challenged students to draw a picture together without talking but sharing a crayon, meaning they had to make multiple decisions without using their voices. Look how well they worked together! @Stlcs_EICS

Today our @Stlcs_EICS community recognized and celebrated Indigenous Peoples Day. From prayer, bannock roasting, to smudging, games, story walk in the garden, and many more culturally rich activities, the student were fully engaged all day.
