Is anyone else constantly getting this message in their DM’s? I’m getting at least a couple a day! #shegone Hi!, Quick favor I’m a finalist to co-host an upcoming entertainment show, and it comes down to public votes. It only takes a moment, and I’d really appreciate the support. Much love💯 Link: expressvote.b3at.top

@GovBobFerguson You said that wrong: what you clearly meant to say is that Washington state now promotes doxing and harassment of ICE officers.

Years from now, our children and grandchildren will ask what we did to respond to ICE's un-American actions. Washington state now prohibits masks for law enforcement.

@PattyMurray Okay, so what? About 80% of the US wants it and would feel more confident in elections. Any and all citizens have zero problem getting an ID. It makes zero sense to fight this and vote no. In fact, it’s kind of sketchy to fight it… That’s coming from a Centrist.

The average person is more likely to be struck by lightning than they are to commit voter fraud. Seriously. That's a real stat. I'm voting NO on the SAVE America Act.

@shegone03 @WBCBaseball @Mariners I love DeRo, but fans are petty. The MLB network where he said they had already punched their ticket went viral. Common sense would tell you that he found out that was not the case and adjusted before the Italy game, but fans are suckers for click bate. Without that he'd be fine.

Seems odd that the experts who said that the best team in the @WBCBaseball was team DR and they didn’t even make it to the Championship game. Remember people saying they would break the @Mariners All Time win record if they played 162 games? I’ve yet to hear anyone criticize Albert Pujols. But Mark DeRosa whose team lost 3-2 in the Championship game apparently did everything wrong right? #shegone @MLBNetwork @MLBPA @mlbtraderumors @TheAthleticMLB @MLBONFOX @AMBS_Kernan @JeffPassan

@ALorenzen1227 Gotta do it though. Nothing good comes from family members entering the conversation. Even if it’s logical and accurate. Just feeds the trolls the attention they want.

Well... wont disagree with "power to 'fix' prices" but the fact remains that direct immediate increase is a form of profit taking. There are a couple main components to gas prices at the pump. Crude Price is only one. Refining Cost are a big portion (Fixed pretty much for the year). State and Fed Taxes are another (Again... pretty much fixed annually). Distribution is another portion and of course advertising during the WBC or Super Bowl... marketing - this can sway, but all large oil companies have an annual budget and therefore... again... pretty much fixed. The war in any country has almost no effect on all of those except for Crude pricing. It can have a descent effect on distribution if the lanes of shipping are directly effected by the war, which in this case for the US, they are extremely minimal. Crude pricing is largely determined by GLOBAL supply and demand. OPEC production decisions can drive pricing up and down quickly. There is "benchmark" pricing both internationally and specific to the US, but even with such benchmarks, spot prices can sway pricing and that can be effected from everything global financial markets to the weather to of course a war. I get that a global event like Iran have an effect, but that effect is somewhat a guess. Much of it has to do with supply concerns in the area and that effects "future" pricing and possible supply issues which again are future predictions. It does not help that spring is also a time where summer-blend is being "switched on" in the majority of refineries, especially those in Cali. Those methods of refining do cost more. And most make things possibly worse, when those "switches" are turned on, many times it is a good time to do refinery maintenance and therefore things like supply can be effected. But those things are well known and re-planned. The "immediate" effect of increase in gas price "increase" is "fake" in the regards to what you are pumping into car today was bought on the oil market probably on an average of about 6 weeks (some areas as little as 4 and others as much as 8) ago. So, like many businesses, a price increase on an item that you have "in stock" (which much of oil is - mid-short term) is a bit of a price gouge. Like a lighting showroom that has 30 fans in stock that they bought in 2025, when they get a new price from the vendor Jan 2026, they "mark up" their pricing base on the new price and are therefore making additional profits on (LIFO/FIFO costing) as not a single fan in stock cost the new price. Travel time (if not US Crude) can be weeks. Once at a refinery, most batching for "gasoline" is about a 24 hour process. Some refineries are in the 12-14 hour process time per batching, but it really is closer to about a day. From the time is it refined, much of it goes immediately into storage and then delivered. So, for a bomb to drop in a country that we get ZERO oil from and a pittance of oil through a distribution lane and the very next day to have prices go up as much as 25% is fake price gouging of current stock. That is all my point was and yes, oil execs can pressure their chains to not increase pricing based on what future oil at the pump will cost but priced on what is still in the ground. FYI - family owned gas stations as I was growing up and I also have a Chem and Petroleum Refining Engineering degree from School of Mines. Been a while since I have been in the biz, but I still remember a few things and much in that industry remains fairly constant. I remember as a kid having to change pump prices and at times we changed based on what the other stations around us were doing even though our 13,000 gallon tanks were "just filled." So, sometimes we did make a bit more profit... 😉😉

@DSteg_PHX @realDonaldTrump An example of what’s currently happening vs 2014: June of ‘14 we were becoming over supplied while oil was $114 per barrel, but the media was focused on the Taliban starting fires of oil wells in Iraq. It took 3 months for markets to recognize supply before oil dropped.

@DSteg_PHX @realDonaldTrump Oil was where I cut my teeth in trading/investing. Speculators move oil and gas in the short term, legislation and supply/demand move prices long term. Nature of the beast.

@AquillonVT @Dm_Cards_ @Focal75_ I would love you to give one single example of someone saying his blocking is among the best in the league! lol Nobody says that. The only defensive stat he’s in the top 20 of is framing… he ranked 5th last year. Next year, that won’t really matter with the challenge system.

@StocksNBaseball @Dm_Cards_ @Focal75_ He had one passed ball all last year, in the postseason. His blocking is brought up a lot as among the best in the league. Opinions based on High school catching experience doesn't really mean shit when stats are just right there

@AquillonVT @Dm_Cards_ @Focal75_ PB’s have zero to do with blocking. He ranks 53rd in blocks above average. I’m sorry you didn’t play long enough to know the difference between a passed ball and being able to block a pitch…

@StocksNBaseball @CoachMarcusHill It’s actually really exploitative. Poor parents sell their kids to MLB sponsored baseball labor camps where 99% get chewed up and spit out. There’s nothing romantic about baseball in the DR.

@MicahS22 @Focal75_ I know you probably think I’m dissing on Cal. I’m not. I’m a legit fan and LOVE his bat. It’s just that he’s middle of the pack defensively. Doesn’t mean I think he sucks. I don’t!

@StocksNBaseball @Focal75_ He's been in the 80+ percentile for catching stealing for the last 3 seasons, his pop time is above average and block stats are almost entirely based on volume. Cal saw the 7th most PB +WP last year and he had 0 PB
