@MeenaMuses IMO, we don’t lose scientists to MBAs - We lose them to an ecosystem that spends < 0.7% of GDP on R&D. Yankee mindset: Fund uncertain research for 5+ years (i.e. Metaverse). Indian mindset: ROI in 2–3 years. Until that changes, brain drain won’t stop.

🚨 From April 1, 2026, The Govt. of India has reduced Basic Customs Duty on goods moving from Special Economic Zones (SEZ) to Domestic Tariff Area (DTA). Earlier taxed like imports, these goods will now face lower duty making it cheaper for manufacturers to sell domestically.

TNMB has approached Indian Railways to secure rail connectivity for the existing Cuddalore Port and a proposed greenfield port, with a 1.65 km rail link. Greenfield port project is underway and construction is set to begin within 12 months and achieve full capacity in 24 months.
