In college i used to have a life drawing class where i would get bored n draw my ocs doing the poses of the live model n this included furry ocs and my prof loved it and would be impressed by my ability to translate the human pose into an anthro character bc of the diff leg types

@m0sstrx omg this happens with every animation on tiktok ever. i remember on youtube people would be upfront with making animations that were /meant/ to be replicated but nowadays viewers dont even care if that distinction is there or not

@spottedscourge I think a lot of it stems from jealousy, as in you have a character they want and think you dont deserve it because youre not using it the way they would. So they just sort of take it out on everyone who has a lot of ocs i guess. Very odd!

realistically what's wrong with "oc hoarding" ?? i see ppl on toyhouse refuse to give ocs to people because they either have "too many" ocs or they aren't using their ocs properly (whatever that means). if they're obtained fairly & proper credit is given then i don't see an issue
