In fact, the country, Saudi Arabia was a British invention. There was nothing called Saudi Arabia prior to 1932. Similar to the gulf states; the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. The political power of the Fulanis is built on Pax Islamica which is “Islam first”. Without Pax Islamica, the Arewa identity, hegemony and power will be erased in a decade which is why they frown at ethnic nationalism in the North and the rest of Nigeria and fully propagate Islamic nationalism in a secular country. It is not because they are religious but because they understand that the gains and powers of Pax Islamica was what made the Hausas, Nupes and other ethnicities to accept minority rule and succumb to alien rule in their homeland. It was Pax Islamica that made the Sokoto caliphate and Borno empire merge to create Arewa power and hegemony in the North which not only secured the Fulani hegemony, it also gave Kanuris access to unlimited political power. Now why is Mr Garba attacking Saudi Arabia all of a sudden? Saudi Arabia is not following the ideology of Pax Islamica which Arewa nationalists are always preaching to Muslims in order to secure the territory their ancestors conquered in the 19th century. People like Garba are intelligent to know that their subjects and rational minds will start questioning the ideology of “Islam first before ethnicity “ in a multipolar world order citing the USA-Iran war where Saudi Arabia and other Arab Muslim countries sided with a Christian superpower to crush another Islamic country. This is the definition of survival. They have quickly started delegitimising Saudi Arabia and calling it a British creation. This is where we must expose the hypocrisy of Mr Garba and other Arewa (Fulani nationalists). The Arewa or one North identity was nothing but a British creation in order to secure Fulani minority power in the North. The Fulanis and Kanuris were mortal enemies before Nigeria, therefore it is egregious for Garba to lampoon Saudi Arabia as a British creation while championing a faux Arewa identity that was created by Britain. For further evidence, I advise my readers to read the “Dual mandate”. Furthermore, is it not double standard for Garba to delegitimise Saudi Arabia as a product of Sykes-Picot line demarcation but openly champion one Nigeria? If Saudi Arabia is a fake country and British product, what about Nigeria???? At least Saudi Arabia is named after an Arab family, history tells us that Nigeria was named by the girlfriend (Flora shaw) of our colonial masters (our colonial masters means our oppressors). On one hand you insult Saudi Arabia as fake but openly boast of a Nigerian heritage which is even more fake than Saudi Arabia, all because Pax Islamica was put to shame in the 21st century???? I leave my audience to think deeply and understand why people like me take time to explain geopolitics to everyone because without it, we will be manipulated by the likes of Garba.
