This represents an important step in the operational preparations for Chuditch-2, reflecting the collaborative efforts between the project team and regulatory authorities.

The licence follows the submission and review of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in collaboration with the upstream regulator ANP TIMOR LESTE, and approval by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

Congratulations to Prime Energy, its partners and the government of the Philippines on a significant natural gas discovery at Malampaya East-1 (MAE-1), the first major find in over a decade with an estimated 98 billion cubic feet of gas and strong initial flow rates reported.
