📢Dear Esteemed Members of the SUPA Foundation, Reflecting on the thrilling journey since the inauguration of the SUPA Foundation 18 months ago, we are eager to share the achievements we've garnered so far: • Won best NFT App in Fantom’s hackathon • Fostered a tightly-knit and friendly community • Launched a beta for SUPA Foundation Internal Conflict • A first-of-its-kind trading card/board game hybrid along with its unique rich lore We've identified a notable trend within the current Web3 ecosystem – a scarcity of genuine gamers. SUPA, too, confronts this challenge. Despite this hurdle, we remain enthusiastic and immensely proud of what we have built and continue to construct for SUPA. We're excited to introduce our game to gamers worldwide, regardless of whether they're from Web2 or Web3 communities. Our aim is to ensure that our game reaches a wider, more inclusive audience. We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make our game more appealing and user-friendly to an extensive range of gamers. We look forward to sharing more about these developments soon. As we constantly strive to improve, we are preparing to implement a few important measures: 1) We will be pruning inactive users from our Discord and Telegram communities, which is key to fostering an engaged and active community. 2) We will be proposing the sunset of the SUPA Foundation's ($SUPA) Token. A proposal for existing$SUPA Token holders to vote on this will be opened shortly. The current state of our$SUPA token does not mirror the significant progress we have made, nor does its value represent the high-quality game we've developed. The token currently offers limited utility, minimal profit for holders, and sadly, forms a barrier for us to launch the game cross-chain and also a barrier to entry for new gamers due to its relative inaccessibility. It is clear we will need to go cross chain given current activity at 🔗dappradar.com/rankings/proto… Our proposal is to sunset and discontinue the $SUPA token. After the governance voting period, we will delist $SUPA from exchanges and CoinMarketCap/CoinGecko, a snapshot will be taken at a random time post-voting, and we will airdrop a free utility NFT to each $SUPA token holder within 1 week of the vote passing. Each NFT will incorporate a snapshot of the proportion of $SUPA tokens held in comparison to the total supply. Going forward, any profits generated by the SUPA Foundation's game, Internal Conflict, will be distributed to these NFT holders indefinitely, in the form of stablecoins at the end of every quarter or until the company becomes insolvent. This complimentary, unique NFT is our token of appreciation for our early supporters. Voting will commence on the 30th of June 2023 at 3pm GMT and close on the 7th of July 2023 at 3pm GMT. The outcome of the vote will be determined by a straightforward majority, requiring more than 50% of the votes. Members who abstain from voting will be assumed to follow the decision of the majority. To note, $SUPA will remain on blockchain and you will still own it in your wallet even if the vote passes but may hold little to no value as it will be delisted from exchanges.
