@Israelwatchroom @ariana_farhad @JaiNDoC_RL The translation makes perfect sense: The verses contradicts themselves. No eating for three days does not mean starving for three days. Starving is when your body starts to use your muscle mass. 3 days of not eating does not do that.

Arabic is a difficult language. In the verse family and wife are differentiated and there is no two versions the verse َأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ The professor from the Wood University doesn’t understand فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ َ “So travel (leave) with your family” And ِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ “except your wife” He thinks family means wife. Family may include wife but it includes others ( children, parents, in laws) The verse singularly states family and wife.
