I told you guys earlier your fave dev is working this weekend! To list just a few of the things we did today: 1. Released this article around our fully hardened private secured cloud that we are building: zenodo.org/records/211981… 2. Did non dev founder things like securing a 250k investment for CapIX from a private VC - more information to come on this shortly 👀 3. Worked tirelessly to bring all the changes that the different focus group wanted, tidied up our docs, worked on our ZK Proofs, redesigned the architecture around these proofs to be scalable infinitely (so long as we can get more nodes) Overall lots accomplished and a break down of the publication will be dropping shortly for all our non technicals out there!

What it does: Routed chat. Ask anything in the chat panel. The exchange classifies difficulty and routes to the cheapest capable model. Every answer shows which model ran, what it cost, and how much you saved vs GPT-4o baseline. Tab autocomplete. Inline completions as you type, routed to a fast cheap code model. Fractions of a cent per suggestion. Image generation. Ask the agent to generate a logo, icon, or background - it routes to the cheapest image model and previews the result inline in your workspace. Vision. Paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V and the model actually sees it. Image requests automatically route to vision-capable models. Tier override. Auto by default. Force cheap when you want speed, force frontier when quality matters.

Every tier now has live competition: 10 offers per auction instead of 6. More real models competing means cheaper results and more failover targets if one model goes down. Switchboard text-to-image update. Switchboard now routes text-to-image the same way it routes chat - classify the prompt, auction across providers, route to the cheapest model that fits, bill the real image cost in $SWCH, burn part of the fee on-chain. Built on OpenRouter's Unified Image API. Prompts get classified into three tiers - simple, standard, premium - by a fast keyword heuristic, no extra LLM call. Each tier is a failover chain: Flux Klein and Gemini Flash Image for simple, Seedream and Gemini 3.1 Flash for standard, Flux Pro, Gemini 3 Pro, and Grok Imagine for premium. switchesboard.com
