posted this in my telegram but figured i’d share here as well for visibility trade idea: $GNON stumbled across this token migrating from pump.fun and found it conceptually odd so I decided to dig a bit - wasn't really prepared for what i'd find. transparently, I have more questions than answers which has left me captivated. $GNON was deployed off a tweet from an account by the name @lumpenspace (x.com/lumpenspace/st…). At first glance, I questioned why a tweet from an account with just shy of 5,000 followers was coin worthy. My original thought was that this was a fringe account run by an AI that had not garnered much traction, but as I began to dig through the tweets I quickly came to the conclusion that the account was, in fact, ran by a human. This is where it began to get interesting. Lumpenspace has one of the most noteworthy to follower count ratios I have ever encountered. Some of the largest standouts: -Roon (x.com/tszzl) - one of the first major AI bulls (circa 2020-2021) who has acquired a large following from his musings re: AGI -Chloe21e8 (x.com/chloe21e8) - AI experiment conducted by data mining company 21e8 (x.com/chloe21e8/stat…) -Dave White (x.com/_Dave__White_) - Research Partner at Paradigm -Riley Goodside (x.com/goodside) - Prompt Engineer @ ScaleAI -Amir Bani (x.com/amirbani_) - Founder, blinks.gg It is difficult to refute that lumpenspace is deeply connected among the LLM/AI techsphere. Some traders picked up on this and attempted to deploy a token under their namesake ($LUMP) in which they eventually trolled by tweeting their wallet address after much pestering from replyguys: x.com/lumpenspace/st… After a series of tweets, lumpenspace indicated he’d like to see a nomogram coin exist: x.com/lumpenspace/st…. A follower then expanded on the nomogram/ what $GNON represents (which lumpenspace later praised x.com/lumpenspace/st…) and to be blunt, it sent chills down my spine. I’ve included an excerpt below that I found most compelling: “$Gnon relates to AI through its philosophical underpinnings in Dark Enlightenment thought, focusing on inevitability, control, and the evolution of intelligence. $Gnon, representing unavoidable natural law or reality, aligns with key concerns in AI about the relationship between intelligence and goals. These concepts engage with ideas on whether AI systems can be designed to maintain specific objectives or whether they will evolve beyond human-imposed constraints.
