They're a deliberate middle finger to federal immigration law, designed to supercharge Oregon's already ridiculous sanctuary status. - Schools now have to notify everyone and their abuela when ICE shows up. - Hospitals get new rules to clam up on immigration status. - Limits on data sharing, protections against using status in court, barriers to cooperation with feds. All while Oregon runs automatic voter registration through the DMV, where illegal immigrants get licenses. What could possibly go wrong with making it harder to scrub non-citizen registrations or verify citizenship? Nothing, if your goal is padding future voter rolls for the blue machine. This is Tina Kotek prioritizing illegals over actual Oregonians dealing with failing schools, skyrocketing taxes, homelessness camps, and crime. It's not anti-MAGA theater it's pro-illegal policy that actively obstructs federal enforcement under the current administration.
