Let me guess how today will go. Hill gives up 1-3 runs in the first, then settles down to go a total of 5 innings, being generous I suppose, then the bulllpen holds it down while the offense musters just enough runs to make it look like we are coming back, but eventually losing.

@TFbragg Depends on which Walker shows up. He has been bad since the all star game, hasn’t pitched this much in years due to injuries. He is running on fumes. He needs to get an extra day of rest between starts but the Mets won’t. We should have won that game last night but Familia.....

Can we really believe that the Mets front office was taking this year seriously? By adding a 41 YO pitcher? No. 2022 is the year they were looking at. This was a throw away year despite the new Owner’s claims.
