A few years ago, I sold my wife's jewelry to buy $2,000 worth of Bitcoin during a two-year-long quest to recover from the losses of the 2018-19 cycle. I ended up losing that $2,000 in futures as well. During those days, futures trading was the only thing I could think of. I couldn’t write a single word; my creativity was dead. I had become a madman, programmed to lose money in something I had already lost everything to—yet I still clung to the last shred of hope, which kept me moving forward only to lose more. I was in debt but kept trying to take one more futures trade, even in the most stressful period of my life. In those days, I used to think that if I could bounce back from this, I could bounce back from any situation, no matter how bad. Somehow, I did bounce back—fixed everything in life, regained the highest level of creativity, and found a state of peak mental peace that seemed impossible just a few years ago.
