Lovely day for a field walk ☀️ great to be at the @FaceyGroup long coleoptile field walk today to chat all things oats at our collaborative trial with @CSIRO. Oats in general have a long coleoptile & mesocotyle length which allows the crop to emerge better at depth than most other cereals, making them a a great early sowing option.
