I don’t even hate the dodgers specifically, Id do the same thing if I was in their position. I love Freddy Freeman and think Shohei Ohtani is remarkable. I just hate a system that allows for such inequality in competitive fairness accross an entire league. And them winning two years in a row is just a gross reminder of that. A lot of this honestly is just deep rooted hatred for the Yankees growing up.

The inability to remove the ball is not part of the rule. It’a very clear it was lodged on impact. You guys are grasping at straws and certainly wouldn’t be if the roles were reversed.

The outfielder doesn’t get to decide it was a lodged ball and then dislodge it before an umpire can inspect it and rule on it. And then New York decided it was lodged by video review?? I’ve never seen anything like this before.

It should be the obligation of a player to attempt to play and if unmoveable it becomes lodged.

It's hard to believe how amazing he is. Hard to conceive. I've seen Beltre, Kemp, and Bellinger all have ONE elite season, but Ohtani just keeps doing it.
I've also seen Betts and Freeman go nuts but more consistently than the other three lol.
