@TheVandelay @ItmeBoe Why would a completely online PVP battle sim have a single player mode when they just released a single player Pokemon game last month called Pokopia? Even then they just released a mainline game called Legends Z-A back in October that’s centered around single player battles

@ItmeBoe You understand of course that a single-player mode would still have battles, right? A Battle Frontier, Gym Leader Castle, or PWT Type Expert challenge in single-player would still be battles, they'd just be themed (and the game supports this, Poke Ball tier is ALL bots already)

@4the4th195075 @Kneeckoh_Gaming Champions is now going to be where the official Pokemon battles are going to be for competitive play like VGC so when Wind and Waves comes out it is definitely going to have whatever gimmick they come out with for it. Only reason Megas is the focus right now is because of Z-A

@Kneeckoh_Gaming Okay but why would I transfer my wind and waves Pokémon from my game that looks better and will have whatever that games gimmick is day one into a game that looks worse and likely won't have that gimmick day one?

I said I was going to bed but just started doom scrolling. A trend I am noticing regarding #PokemonChampions: - Many long time players are upset with the changes - People who are diving in and trying competitive out for the first time seem to be having fun! My personal take as someone who’s played VGC for 2 generations now: 1. The game is fun 2. Items will get added back overtime, it’s not really the end of the world 3. The grind for VP isn’t terrible, but could be better 4. The replica system is not good at all and needs a revision. Ultimately I think the game is fine and will get better with some patches. I think some of the criticism is warranted and some of it I agree with, but a lot of it seems to be a touch extreme imo. Maybe it’s just me, but there are a lot more important things to worry about in life, so I’m just not wasting energy getting upset about a lot of these changes. I’ll just adapt and keep have fun playing Pokemon.

EA and Take Two have literally done way more harmful things to gaming as a whole than what Game Freak does. You can tell yall don’t play other games when yall say stuff like this

Targeting civilians would, in fact, be a war crime. This man is deranged, unstable, and unfit to lead. He thinks this is a game. Republicans need to find their backbone, rein him in, and end this reckless war before more innocent lives are lost and this escalates into something far worse.

It’s amazing how America says things like we want “change,” and then never actually elects change agents! Look at the insane cycle of abuse that we keep subjecting ourselves to! Yes, Trump, is by far the most abusive, but telling lies & waging war, while destroying our economy is a familiar refrain… It is time to get serious & honest about the people that we elect that literally are making life or death decisions both here & abroad. No one will be PERFECT, no matter how many times the internet will lie & say their fav candidate is, but it’s not about perfection, it’s about seeking a more perfect union… It’s truly exhausting to have been SO RIGHT & to travel the country & try to ring the alarm, but for it to fall on deaf ears or this country just decide that qualifications & heart, matter not, when they are embodied within a non patriarchal figure…
