Until you can be sure your contribution to carbon emission reduction is not double counted, you can't be sure your contribution impacts reduction at all. Thus, we bring the data to the public blockchain where anybody can track tree-planting and impact.

6/ We must reinvent the way trees are planted at scale with perpetual auto-funded initiatives. @terra_money should be carbon-neutral, at least. But why not make us the first ever carbon net-negative ecosystem in blockchain? We like the way that sounds, what about you? 👌

5/ We believe a solution that can meet crypto's growth can only be found within the blockchain space itself. Despite mining becoming more efficient, one thing is certain - we can never plant too many trees. But traditional donation and grant-based initiatives aren't enough.

6/ 100% transparency. That is the aim. And we have no choice, because the blockchain will reveal all. Much of the financial side of tree-planting has traditionally happened behind closed curtains, whereas blockchain’s selling point is openness and irrefutable record keeping.

5/ Terra Tree's planting and growth data from @Esri satellite imagery will be linked to our methodology on @regen_network eco ledger. This will track CO2 sequestration and determine carbon credit issuance. Thus, ensuring that all your impact and our spending is accounted for.

4/ With its tracked and publicly communicated info, blockchain may be able to rebuild trust in organizations on a mission to heal the world. Verifiable timestamps, satellite imagery & geolocations hold impact orgs accountable. That's what Terra Tree is doing differently 💯
