My mom cried on her birthday because I waited until 5:30 PM to call her. Yeah, you read that right. I'm 30, she's 74. I finished work, picked up the phone, and wished her a happy birthday. To me, that's a normal evening call. But she was so upset I hadn't called or texted earlier that day, she actually started crying on the phone. Now I feel like the absolute worst person for making her emotional on her special day, but I'm also really taken aback by the whole thing. Was I in the wrong?

To the women on this app please be honest: Would you be comfortable with a father bringing his young daughters into the women’s restroom if it’s completely empty, so the girls feel safe and at ease?

This is the walking poster child for poor choices in action. She’s sitting in her car, emotional and pointing fingers as she admonishes you to be careful about who you have kids with. She then details the financial mess she’s is in because she shacked up with garbage while the consequences of bad decisions pile up around her. Messy priorities, messy life, and now she’s shocked it hurts. Crying on camera and playing victim won’t rewrite the math. Actions have consequences — own them or stay stuck. No sympathy for self-inflicted disasters. Grow up. Stay classy, not trashy, my friends.

We have a case of tip fatigue here . This woman ordered an 8 dollar pre made sandwich. After she paid, the associate asked her why she didn’t tip as she made her sandwich . She responded to her that it was her job to make sandwiches and got paid accordingly. I see this situation from both sides. I worked my way through college as a hairstylist and there were many times when I did really good work and spent a lot of time with the customer and they were very happy and wound up not tipping however, by the same coin, I understand this situation is different. They are paid to make the sandwiches and they’ve gotten so used to getting tipped that when somebody doesn’t they’re shocked I guess. The store associate was way out of line for asking her about the tip, though in my opinion. She never should’ve brought it up. It’s very unprofessional. What are your thoughts on this subject?

WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU TAKING ON THIS CONFRONTATION? WOW! There’s a lot going on with this viral video story in Texas! A Dad of two very young girls was just on a road trip when he stopped at a QT for them to use the restroom. A quick check was made and it was determined that the women’s restroom was empty so he took them inside, they apparently used the restroom and we’re washing their hands when they were confronted with a rather obnoxious man who was with his family including an elderly lady on oxygen. Note: He himself is seen standing halfway inside the women’s restroom harassing the man and speaking with police whom he had called. By his side is what appears to be a trans QT employee. The little girls were visibly shaken and one was crying because of the harassment. Near the end, the QT trans woman closed the bathroom door on the aggressor and apologized to the Dad and his girls. The offended aggressor apparently wanted the man to take his little girls into the men’s room. What are your thoughts on the best protocol for these circumstances and on how this situation was handled? (There is no report on whether or not the police arrived and what else transpired.)

@MustangMan_TX The Dad. I’m angry that the Manager did not make Angry Man leave, especially after the children started crying in fear. In the Men’s restroom, any Man could walk in at anytime and start urinating out in the open at the urinals.

@iqrafatma1278 My daughter “tried” this. I told her of the Consequences she would face if the room was not cleaned by the next day. She did not clean. Next day, I brought in the garbage can and She had to throw Everything (minus clothes) in it (it was garbage day). Then, watch all be taken.

Just want genuine advice, Mom to Mom here. I have a 7 1/2 year-old who refuses to help pick up his room. He gets overwhelmed and angry and dismissive every time I ask him to help. I understand that his room gets out of control and I try to get him to pick it up after the end of each day and it is an incredibly huge fight that honestly, I am exhausted in fighting. From one mom to another what should I do? I am seriously open for all suggestions!

@LongTimeHistory Men’s restrooms have urinal’s where men stand and pee out in the open. I feel for this Dad. When our daughter was young, my husband never took her anywhere by themselves for this very reason. It was the 90’s, now where near today’s society.

UPDATE—Police arrived at gas station and confirmed the dad was allowed to take his 2 girls into restroom. A man called 911 because he thought it was illegal—even with no family option available. "I'd love to hear you," he said. "What bathroom do you use to protect your kids?"

This woman returned a U-Haul truck that she rented on Saturday. She went back into the office Monday to complain that she got charged an extra $210. 😳 The man behind the counter told her it’s because she didn’t check the truck in on her phone like he showed her to do. He told her he wouldn’t be there Saturday after 3pm, so she was to check it in online on her phone. Since that didn’t happened, the truck didn’t get checked in until he came in Monday, thus the extra charges. She said she parked the truck in the back and dropped the keys in the drop box. Many people said they sided with U-Haul. They said that’s why they give you a pamphlet and as the man said that’s why he explained it to her. 💯 She said she didn’t remember him explaining that to her. I always read and listen because I do not want extra charges ever, no matter what I’m renting. It easily could have been checked in online. What do think? Do you think it’s her fault for not listening and following directions? Or do you think U-Haul was just trying to scam her for more money?

This delivery made me laugh and sigh at the same time. 😅📦 We have a sign asking drivers not to drive on the concrete, which is there to protect the driveway from heavy vehicles. I completely understand if the driver didn’t want to risk it. But the package ended up sitting down by the sign in the gravel, pretty far from the house. I know delivery drivers are busy and probably trying to follow instructions, but this was not exactly what I had in mind. A quick message or placing it somewhere a little safer and closer would have made a big difference. Sometimes delivery instructions get followed a little too literally. Has anyone else had a package left in a spot that made you wonder what the driver was thinking? 😂
