@the_phi_guy @LorcanaPod So it's a lot easier than it sounds. Both players need to be at 20 to win. Beyond that everything else is pretty much already printed on the cards. Lorcana is pretty multiplayer coded. Sing together is a big one, never noticed those cards say teammate!

Did something fun today. Played in a local 2v2 tournament with @LorcanaPod . Split a case and didn't drop a game. Just wanna highlight how much of a blast this alternate format was. Would definitely play again. Oh and this deck combo was diabolical.

@HarlanSweete It's oddly enough green purple. You just stand Phillip and draw lots of cards til you combo. But uhh... I'm not sure that MU is gonna catapult GP to meta anytime soon 😅

This new amber steel deck is doing steel stuff to the max. Pure steeling games. It's pretty good fun. Please, someone, don't find some new counter meta deck to counter this counter meta deck ty. I wanna play it for store champs.

@gingerspagehtti But to answer your question, prbly Blurple or a really aggressive burn focused PS.

@gingerspagehtti Blurple is a skill check. Against an opponent comfortable playing GP I think it can be closer to 50 otherwise I feel favored. PS really depends on their build but it doesn't feel terrible. It really does pretty well into all the big decks but Bleen is basically an auto loss lol

Had a great time in Houston with the team this weekend. Played dogs in the main event and regretted it immensely. Deck is incredibly strong though, in some unwinnable matchups it always felt like it had a line. BUT I did crack top 16 on Sunday for some cash in the $5k with this!

@gingerspagehtti All this added up with Blurple having an unlimited toolbox of options now kinda limits her value in that MU. Sven isn't everywhere but when you find the one that comes down on turn 3 into your Webby you just get irrationally angry that they have that option lol

@gingerspagehtti A. I love Webby so much, card is pretty much my second ride or die past Go Go. B. Unfortunately the shift line is often a death sentence against PS where you really need to threaten trade ups with all of the lil guys. You need presence to freeze them and slowly curve Phillip

@armyscrubibble I wanna draw more cards on 5 😂. Play line against dogs is something like 1-2-3-4 curve t5 draw lots of cards and sing UtS or find pieces for big T6 play. I do think there's a world where both levers work their way in to the deck tho, Awkward because you never wanna play em early

@armyscrubibble So this is a big decision point tbh. I highly valued the ability to play book for 2 then crack it when I needed to. Playing around Demona and even Clarabelle was huge. But tbf there is a world where both levers find there way back in the deck!

@ThatMoKid I have to ask why book over pull the lever its essentially the same but also threatens wrong lever. Granted yes you can pay 2 for book then later pay 1 but curious on finders over it.

@dadlorcana Dogs I'd say. Just freeze them with your early early game then draw a bunch of cards on turn 5 and sing UtS. Louis is big here too.

@jorjohn1 @BannibalHarca @siahmn Green Steel for example. Amazing dog matchup and very solid purple steel matchup. You can't establish shift lines, or play towards a Goliath end game when Blurple has so much spot removal. As long as Blurple is 20%+ you can't bring GS even if it's a solid call on paper

Worse than the power level of dogs is the reality that the Lorcana community has no interest in policing its own metagame. If you bring an anti-dogs list you lose to the 60% of players not seriously trying to win. Ironically, not enough players are playing the broken deck.

Made Top 16 at CCS Houston Lorcana 25k! Landed 6th after Swiss (6-1-1) and was really feeling myself with the list. Lost in Top 16 to a sweet GP control list with Robin Hoods. Had an excellent weekend regardless with @Team_Inkfinity and looking forward to the next! ^_^
