@Mcgregorcomes @harmlesstree2 @ArtsyMarx1st Not to weigh in on anything else in this conversation, but it’s been studied in anthropology and oral traditions do a far, far better job of retaining stories truthfully than the written word. Across cultures and times oral tradition is a far more reliable medium.

posts like this are funny cuz sure, but jesus wasnt a real guy. theres no evidence beyond anecdotal that he was real, and most details of his life are borrowed from other religions. so its like a bunch of ppl arguing over what hercules looked like.

A D.C. woman was arrested in the apartment building where she pays a monthly rent to live in. She told 7News the Channel Square Apartments called police on her after she tried to teach tenants about their rights. Tenants told 7News they feel this is retaliation for their reports and complaints about conditions inside.

The Bat Trang House wraps a 740m² family home in a porous ceramic facade inspired by the pottery village it sits in. Trees grow through the center. The courtyard pulls air through every floor. Heat and light filtered naturally through jali screens.
Working with your climate instead of fighting it. The material existed. The knowledge existed. The decision was all that was missing.

Vietnam and Iran are two of the world’s most serious brick countries and this house from Hanoi proves why. Brick Cave by H&P Architects. Jali screens filtering light and air across every facade. A rooftop garden growing vegetables. A courtyard pulling the outside in. All of it built from locally produced brick in a dense suburban commune undergoing rapid urbanization. At night it becomes a lantern. By day it’s a cave. Same material. Same hands. Completely different experience. This is what brick can do when architects take it seriously. Additional tidbits to this story:
Pat decided literally yesterday on his way to the game that this was going to happen.
He and some of the players were mulling over what animal he should pull out of his pocket.
A couple players suggested a gerbil or hamster, but he decided on a turtle.
So he paid the KC clubbie $500 to go buy him a turtle and bring it to the stadium.
After the cancelled game, the players were with it in the clubhouse, feeding it all sorts of vegetables.
The turtle is living the highlife, make no mistake.

Welp…….The Brewers now have a pet turtle. A pocket turtle. 🐢 Backstory: I caused Pat Murphy chaos with pocket pancakes… So this time during our interview, Murph handed me a……live turtle and said, “Good luck getting it through TSA.” The turtle, will be staying with the team for now, as American Airlines apparently draws the line at reptiles.
