Last year, even when the Whitecaps were playing from behind, they felt inevitable. It was only a matter of time before the game was theirs. The team is still very good, but hasn’t been the same vibe so far in 2026. #VWFC

@The3rdSub Meh, if we’re out, we probably want our competitors to stay in. The flip side of these tournaments is the wear and tear and exhaustion of a packed schedule. Goal is for your team to win or get out, and then helpful it rivals stick around late (but lose).

At least San Diego is also getting eliminated. Oh, and that pink team is already out. #VWFC

FT Thoughts: -Solid performance until they were up against it, then obviously had to press the issue late. -Lack of final product still an issue, but Seattle knew what they needed to do. -Badwal very good again, I thought AZ was also a standout, Müller had his moments. #VWFC
