To make some unique and tasty laser layers, use any morphing plugin to blend ultra tonal source [I used some weird granular chirping from Phaseplant] with real world impulses like gunshots, explosions, kicks/impacts, then destructively process it into submission... #GameAudio

One of our biggest challenges is lighting —managing indoor/outdoor environments with extreme contrast variations based on weather conditions. We've just released an update to AtmoStorm, our weather engine. It now delivers consistent lighting across all environments without sacrificing atmosphere, while maintaining PvP Visibility. This update also reduces Lumen noise, shadow artifacts, and much more.

I just went back to SCAD to talk students in game audio and noticed that a few folks had this disconnect between sound design and implementation—that they are completely separate things and designing sound is the fun part and putting it in game is this rote tedious 2nd step (1/4)
