A lot of MAGA believe in deregulation and “might is right.” They may soon learn the consequences of those views when public health gets worse, health care gets much more expensive and they have to send their sons to a be cannon fodder in a Mideast quagmire war.

It’s bonkers that high-earning individuals with ability to maximize 401k and deferred compensation will also get $50k+/year in Social Security too. They don’t need it. Trimming Social Security benefits for high net worth individuals would help keep the plan solvent.

Social Security was created to prevent poverty during one’s older years when they could not reasonably work. Rich people who have $1M+ 401ks, etc. don’t need it. SS is insurance against poverty, not extra income for those who don’t need it.

While it seems the U.S. has made a hard right turn toward authoritarianism, perhaps the opposite is what is truly happening. The U.S. has been trending toward progressivism since the 1960s and this is their last attempt to stop it before they become a permanent minority.

Wait.. the US lifted sanctions on 140 million barrels of Iranian oil? Aren’t we at WAR with Iran!!! So, we’re going to make it possible for Iran to make money to buy weapons to kill Americans so we can get gas a little cheaper? Good thing they weren’t in charge in WWII.

One of the many, many things the US did not consider in its war with Iran is that the US has to effectively protect the entire Middle East from a handful of drones and missiles while Iran simply has to keep from running out of drones and missiles.

#POTUS and Secretary of Defense are flirting with war crimes with their actions vs Iran. They think by ignoring laws of war demonstrates strength. Instead it’s weakness. It causes more war because it so angers the opponent that they will act even worse toward you.

Throughout history, the ones demonizing other groups of people are never the heroes of the story.

It’s time to stop requiring “essential government workers” to work during a government shutdown. Imagine how quickly a deal would happen if border patrol, air traffic controllers, TSA, etc would not work without pay. No flights. NO border crossings. Economic disaster.

For a decade, the @GOP has tried to get rid of #Obamacare claiming it is bad for American health and costs too much. On Jan. 1, 2026, subsidies expire that have helped some people afford healthcare. If health outcomes improve and costs go down, they were right.

Apparently “warrior ethos” means “straight white men.” History has taught us that straight white men are not enough to run an elite military. So “warrior ethos” also means “weak military.” We’re screwed.

Sec of Interior has ordered content disparaging Americans removed from National Park sites. He wants it replaced with “content that focuses on the greatness… of the American people.” Apparently he doesn’t realize bad things happened and we can learn a lot from that.

The only thing that bans on transgender care for minors does is kills more kids. While the long-term impacts of gender-affirming care are not yet known, the short-term is - approximately 50% of trans kids attempt suicide. Hormones can’t be worse than death.

@TheDemocrats stop using words like extremist agenda, unprecedented, etc. Around 45% of Americans already know that and will never support Trump. Instead you need to talk to the 5-10% of Trumps non-maga supporters. Talk about freedom. It’s positive and relatable.

Trump is like a car accident. It’s horrible but we all can’t stop ourselves from looking. And that’s what he wants—attention. The best way to defeat him is to ignore him. He’ll get worse but eventually give up like all other bullies do.

America is great because we believe paper is stronger than a person, a gun, or any army. Paper is thin and tears easily. Nothing prevents anyone from discarding it. Yet, no other force has proven to be stronger. Break the Constitution? America will never be great again.

In case you’re wondering, the chaos of our current admin is what people who voted for it want. They are happy. Thrilled even. They will not realize how bad some of us are telling them it is until an apocalyptic collapse. Hold on folks! It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

How often does a company layoff a bunch of workers and then goes “oopsey daisy” and tries to hire them back days or weeks later? Only the current administration which was supposed to run govt like a business.

Is it bad that I now want the Big Beautiful Bill to pass because Trump suck-ups like Elon are going to get screwed too?
