🎉Congratulations to PhD student @elyas_arvell who delivered a fantastic PhD oration this week. They have discovered a new role for an important brain protein, which contributes to brain conditions like Parkinson's disease.

Latest paper from @TheCousinlab is out in @SfNJournals! We reveal a specific defect in synaptic vesicle endocytosis in CDKL5 deficiency disorder (CDD). This defect was conserved across all stimulus conditions, indicating that .CDKL5 is essential for optimal endocytosis
