@TheNorthernByte Ah, so it's more part of a scam with texts that come after to get actual bank details. Not quite as bad as I thought. Still, it does complicate matters. Few people will click them in that context as they will be wary of random links. Shame.

Thoughts on this? Was going to run off some flyers myself to post around my area. The obvious response by a lot of people who have been infected by the blob's contrived bias will be to see 'Restore' and chuck it in the bin. How about just a QR code to Rupert's launch video? No message, no logo, no nothing. I was thinking of sticking them at bus stops, through doors etc. People who are bored and would normally not even listen might find themselves listening to that short video without even meaning to. They might find they agree?! Good idea? Or does it look like we're ashamed and send the wrong signals? Could many of us do this? Is this a good way to start the ball rolling? We could even get loads of us doing this and create a IRL viral QR drop around the country for that launch video? Feedback please?

Hmm, interesting. What kind of malicious use? Do you mean fishing and spam etc? That's an interesting point. Having a logo would stop the curious NPCs who are pre programmed to hate Restore though. They seem unlikely to click it. Most would rather follow info aligned with their own confirmation bias. I do take your point though. I didn't realise malicious QR codes were a thing. I've never owned a smart phone myself, so I'm a little naive with these things 😉. Ah well, I'll keep thinking.👍

@lee52m What was it about 2001 that caused the turnout to collapse? I was a kid back then, so I was ignorant of it all. I know why it collapsed in 2024 (Apathy) but it never recovered back to 1997 levels anyway. Curious.

There is no official, comprehensive tally of Labour-affiliated individuals (councillors, ex-officials, staff) convicted of child sexual offences, as parties and police do not track or publish such data by affiliation. From BBC and court reports over the past 10 years, documented convictions for elected/former elected Labour figures include: Sean Morton (councillor, indecent images, 2017 & 2025), Nazir Ahmed (peer, child sex offences, 2022), Eric Joyce (ex-MP, indecent image, 2020), Craig Edward (councillor, indecent images, 2024), David Graham (councillor, sexual activity with 13-15yo, 2025), and now Liron Velleman. That's at least 6. Broader membership cases are not systematically reported.
