Won the OSS High Stakes leaderboard ($15k) 26 FTs, 5 wins. 60k Profit. 16 rake-pre RB Had a seizure the day before it started. Woke up to EMS, shoulder dislocated + fractured. Honestly pretty scary. Still figuring out what caused it. Played the next day anyway. Poker was the only place that felt normal. 3 weeks later… won the leaderboard. Was a close race and a fun sweat. GG PotOfGreed! Surgery tomorrow. Off for a bit.❤️

@msalsberg @jeremyausmus I take the L-theanine with the coffee ☕️ gets rid of the jitters - so I can drink more coffee 😳 But I’ve quit caffeine too. Just not rn

@jeremyausmus I wouldnt quit cold turkey just reduce to one cup per day, try taking l theanine with it, have a spoonful of manuka honey around 2 pm that will stabilize your blood sugar and drink water in afternoon too and condolences on being old.

Anyone up for a no caffeine bet for the month of April? Would like to bet 5k or more. Have to be a regular caffeine consumer. I've found this habit is a hard one to kick, even temporarily.

@jeremyausmus I agree it’s kinda like poker was more innocent 😇 before. It took some of the pure fun out.

I really do miss pre-solver poker. Back then, everyone was in the streets trying things with no answer keys. It led to tons of pure exploits and incredibly interesting decisions. You actually had to figure out your opponent in real-time, which created so many distinct, unorthodox playing styles that you just don't see much in the modern game.

Last night at a Charity Event I got into it with a well-known player for calling the dealer an Asshole for mis-dealing a hand. I get it, she had Aces but still... Dealers deserve respect. This was after she belittled a brand new player for not knowing whether to call or raise.

Almost at 1 month sober! Surprisingly don’t miss alcohol at all. Starting to feel my energy levels slowly get back to normal. Wish I would have done this sooner tbh
