@Golfguru54 Community and continuity both work here. Yes we want players that come back and keep repping green and gold, but we also just want to see them in the community doing things with us. Students love it when players and coaches give stuff out on campus. Stuff like that is community.

@JosephBren38162 Oh yes 100% I agree. But then again I don’t see a lot of student insight on the matter. Students take up 1/4 of the space, but make 75% of the noise everywhere you go. We want to see players that we feel connected to. Constant portal changes hurts the students even more.

Gonna add a student perspective: I’m a nerd about USF sports so this isn’t an issue for me, but it’s gotta be tiring going to see new teams year after year with minimal continuity. We want to support players we build community with. In this era it’s hard to do that, so it hurts.
