@bobo_circus I don’t think it works at all. The film depicts Joker as some sort of tech genius who wants to blow up Gotham. There’s no Joker in that. The final confrontation with Terry zaps Joker of all wit and personality and he’s suddenly adept at hand to hand combat?

It's got what is probably the single best take on the Joker in any Batman thing ever: the Joker not as an unknowable genius of chaos, but as a bitter old man who papers over his genuine disdain for the entire world with cheap gags. Brilliant performance by Hamill
