Honoured to learn that one of my newspaper stories is now being used in school examination papers. A story meant to highlight the struggles of ordinary people has become a tool for learning and inspiration.

All good things come to an end, and so does our 2025/26 lean season response. Grateful to the Government of #Zimbabwe's @mpslswzim and all our partners. When we come together with purpose, we deliver results.

The arguement over Pfumbudza vs Cow Ploughing is OVER in my head. Planted the same week, vastly different results.

I love field work. This week I was at Lobengula Garden where I witnessed @WFP_Zimbabwe's resilience building initiatives are impacting households facing food and income stress. #WFP and partners work across three complementary streams—Protect (cash assistance), Build (urban livelihoods), and Prepare (urban disaster readiness)—to help families meet immediate needs, strengthen incomes, and ensure cities are ready for shocks. The project offers livelihoods and entrepreneurship training, start‑up kits for viable value chains. What changes: Higher incomes, more diversified livelihoods, improved financial literacy and business management, stronger participation in local markets. I got these Vegetables from Gogo Sibonginkosi Sipepa, a member of the Lobengula Garden. Gogo Sipepa says she's now able to fend for her grandchildren from proceeds from the garden "WFP has moved from We are investing in resilience—helping communities adapt to climate shocks, supporting smallholder farmers to access markets, and strengthening national systems so that social protection reaches those who need it most," says @BarbaraTClemens @WFP_Zimbabwe Country Director @MoLAFWRD_Zim @cemambo @DavidColtart

Sharing proper agricultural technologies and practices is essential. The success of one farmer should uplift others and help every household achieve food and nutrition security. #FoodSecurity Everywhere, Everyday

She had land, but no tools,no seed&no support. The struggle was real. Then gvt officers stepped in offering support, training&land prep guidance, better seed choices&market linkages. That’s when things turned around. 2day she owns a tractor, feeds her family&mentors other women
