@CooperationWins @amitylee13 Sure. But back to your point about power dynamics. There will always be bad actors, so individuals must protect themselves no matter the dominant paradigm.

@ThriveMovement @amitylee13 That´s right. So coercive forces can ruin a free market, and can also ruin a government that people join willingly. What is the CAUSE of that coercive behaviour in any participant? It is a mental model or paradigm that seeks to win at the expense of others (non-unity).

@CooperationWins @amitylee13 This is a common misperception. A free market is not a vacuum, it is a market characterized by voluntary consent. Any impact by a coercive force renders it no longer free.

@ThriveMovement @amitylee13 Power dynamics are based on firmly held beliefs (paradigms or mental models). You can have markets where players displace others, armies that take over countries, and governments that harshly deal with citizens. And the opposite. A Free Market is a vacuum… not a guarantee.

No. Working class people voted for Trump because they are predominantly anti-war, anti-censorship and pro healthcare freedom. They were tired of a Democratic Party co trolled by the elites. Unfortunately, Trump is also controlled by the elites and turned out to be controlled opposition.

In a free market (ie a market free of coercion) there would be no entity powerful enough to centralize financial markets. Most likely, every city would have at least one stock market, which would help fund local business. Withough government subsidizing trade routes, most trade would stay local. This prevents the growth and existence of anything like a multinational corporation.

@ThriveMovement @amitylee13 This is a “sticky point”… one I’d like to dialogue with you to its ultimate conclusions. You seem to “jump” to that assumption and I don’t understand why. Power dynamics occur with or without “governments” or “corporations”… those are just labels of certain organizations.

Yes. A free market is one that is free of the power dynamics of a crime syndicate. Or at least one where individuals are free to choose to engage in relationships voluntarily. So the concept of a free market already presupposes the power dynamic has shifted to ensure the rights of individual actors within the system. If the power dynamic shifts to the crime syndicate (ie government) the market is no longer free by definition.

@CooperationWins @amitylee13 There would likely not be corporations in a free market. Perhaps collectives or cooperatives, but it tales government power to centralize financial markets. It’s it a shark tank, it’s a naturally self organizing system resulting in symbiosis.
