@RugbyPhilBB I love this. Not once did I mention anything about the present four. I’m a advocate for welsh rugby as a whole. I love the regions and would never want them to be ripped apart. All I want is for people like you to be positive about welsh rugby as a whole.

@RugbyPhilBB Imagine looking up rugby on social media and all you see if accounts like yourself being negative towards something you ‘care’ about. Let’s just support any positive with welsh rugby regardless of the situation we are in.

@RugbyPhilBB Welsh rugby is in a dire place, both north AND south Wales. If you spent more time actually supporting welsh rugby as a whole rather then slamming everything to do with it on your platform we might actually have more people interested as a whole.

@BenNurse8 I don’t think we can be picky unfortunately. Go where the money is. Make rugby the gladiatorial sport it is which we love to watch and play.

@Tim2Grey Americanising would work and I wouldn’t be against that to an extent. I just think other nations have clearly shown more potential to be a hotbed of rugby over the past decade than the US and yet we persist with this idea that they will one day adopt rugby and make it global

There is genuinely 0 aspects of rugby that I can think of that would appeal to a large group of Americans. Not the sport itself, not the way it’s ran, not the culture. Honestly one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen.

@BenNurse8 The MRL is a great start. All I’m trying to get at is rugby is in a dire position and something/anything needs to done. We all as rugby people need to be positive and open minded to any idea and people like you should be the first to promote.

@BenNurse8 How are you being sold a dream? They are hosting the rugby World Cup in 2031. Look what it did too Japan once the World Cup was held there. USA know how to make a spectacle of sport. I love the idea of americanising rugby or take it to the UAE.
