@JonRothstein @Jakenewsome23 Sources are indicating that the Tar Heels are extremely interested in Tulane coach Ron Hunter. He has been a program builder everywhere he has gone, and had one of the most memorable March Madness moments in history when he fell out of his chair.

@PeteThamel @TheOffSeasonCFB @jeffborzello Sources tell me Ron Hunter is on top of the short list to replace Coach Davis. Hunter is of course remembered for his historic win in the NCAA Tournament 11 years ago while falling out of his chair.

Not even trolling, When Bryan Hodgson leaves USF. They should hire Ron Hunter from Tulane
USF has upward trajectory in hoops, would be a place Hunter could immediately win.
Plus it would send a message to the B1G 10 and other power conferences that USF isn’t messing around

How can Coach @jezk1010 and @GreenWaveBSB be expected to compete with only 11.7 scholarships, while the rest of D1 has a full allotment of scholarships to dole out, along with NIL money? The program has been completely cut off at the knees. Fully commit to sports or don’t at all.

@quickpitches32 Where have you seen this confirmed? If it’s true, why even have a baseball program? 11.7 schollies at a school as expensive as TU when the rest of NCAA baseball is using the full allotment completely cuts us off at the knees. I have heard this may be true, but not confirmed yet.

So we know that Tulane baseball is still only using 11.7 baseball scholarships.
But what about the rest of the American Conference? Anyone using the full 35 or close to it?
