@Tim_random1 Yes. When you are baptized and put your faith in Christ, you are born again. Your sins are washed away, God gives you a new spirit, and you begin a new life with Him. As you grow in faith, His Word becomes clearer and easier to understand.

@Tim_random1 Part of overcoming any addiction is to change our habits, the things we surround ourselves with, what we expose ourselves to, what our thoughts linger on.
Fasting, prayer, scripture reading are a good start.
So is doing a healthy activity like fellowshipping and volunteering.

Pastor yesterday said I should help support those that teach me and feed me spiritually. Also that I should try to get married if I have trouble controlling my body. I dont think I am ready yet, but it would be nice I think.

As a Christian, you should have no business with the concept of indifference. The Church sees it as a severe moral and spiritual failure.
